Winter is in full swing and when the weather changes, it can take a toll on your skin. The air starts to get drier and it can create a dull and flaky complexion. The weather has been up and down in Atlanta and it’s been on the colder side lately. I actually had to pull out my coat and scarf!
There are steps you can take to prevent all of these things from happening. Be sure to look for products that are hydrating and soothing. Also, make sure that you are taking care of your body as well. Drinking water and eating your veggies!
I wanted to curate a list of the best hydrating masks I have used personally and will be perfect for combating the cold weather. With all budgets in mind, I have something for everyone! I’m obsessed with all things that hydrate my skin. As an oily/combo skin gal, I used to stay away from hydrating products. I realized that adding oils and sleeping masks actually helped to combat my oily skin.
If you follow me on Instagram, then you know I’m all about lathering and layering products on my skin to wake up with glowy skin. Check out my roundup below.
Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask
The “mask of Instagram” as I like to call it. I’m pretty sure at this point everyone has heard of this of mask — and I have to say, it lives up to the hype! It’s extremely hydrating and it’s multi use. I use it as an overnight mask, eye cream, moisturizer and primer.
Lapcos Aqua Daily Sheet Mask
As I’m writing this post, I’m sad that I only have one more left. Some sheet masks tend to be gimmicky, but this one does the job. When my skin is extremely dry or if I was lazy the night before and didn’t do my routine, I like to use this. I notice a huge difference in my skin afterwards.
Laneige Water Sleeping Mask
I think this is a must have face mask to have in your collection. I like to use this at the end of my routine and it’s perfect for sealing in serums.
Neutrogena Hydro boost Hydrogel Mask
You can never go wrong with a drugstore mask! I love the texture of this mask and the hydrogel consistency is instantly hydrating. I like to put these in the fridge and use in the morning. The design is pretty bad to be honest, but it works.
