
I’m no stranger to working from home. I used to do it a lot working at my last job and being a digital entrepreneur, my home is my headquarters. Now that this is our new normal (for the moment) and I can’t go sit down in a coffee shop to work, it’s still best to stick to a routine. Sticking to a routine helps with productivity and makes you feel somewhat normal in these uncertain times.
7:00am
Naturally, I’m an early riser. In order to have a productive morning, I make it a point to get up and get ready as if it was a normal day. I make my bed, drink, water, take vitamins, shower, and do my skincare routine.

Around 7:30-7:45am, I will pick out a comfy outfit to work in and apply light makeup since I will show my face on Instagram stories and vlogging for YouTube.

8:00am
Now I set up my computer, make my coffee and get to work. If I published a blog post the day before, I will approve and respond to comments, check emails, and write a to- do list. Coffee is much needed during this time so I’ll either make coffee in my Keurig or order Starbucks to go.
9:00am
Once I get my to-do list done and other obligations out of the way, I will make a quick breakfast. I have been making breakfast tacos using Siete Almond Flour tortillas, air fryer bacon, eggs, and salsa.
10:00am-12:00pm
After I eat my breakfast, I will block out a couple of hours to dive in the work. I will pitch and/or follow up for potential projects, plan my content calendar, draft blog posts/plan videos, and work on back office things for my website. Then I will make lunch and continue to work for the rest of the day!
During this time of being at home, I like to use this time to be as productive as possible. I do have days where I felt like I didn’t work to my full potential but there’s always the next day.

This sounds very familiar to my morning routine! Morning is my favorite time of day to get things done. I like to use the afternoon to get a work out in and do other self-care and home tasks. Thanks for sharing!

I’ve been working from home for almost 5 years – and my routine is pretty simple. This is mainly due to the fact that I don’t get up early. My chronic illness makes mornings particularly challenging, so I sleep til 8 and I don’t usually even leave my bed until 10:30 or 11. I work in bed, get up and shower and/or get ready, make coffee and drink it with my husband, have breakfast, and go right back to work again. Pretty chill haha!
