If I had to describe my style, it would be classic with a trendy twist. While I like to “try” to keep up with fashion trends, there is just something about those classics that you will always go back to. What are the hardest working items in your closet? It’s probably going to be your trusty white button down, or your best fitting jeans right? These items are always saving me if I can’t find anything to wear.
The items that I will be sharing will serve as your go to pieces. You will be able to mix and match with other statement items or trendy items. Most importantly, these items will never go out of style. Which is why classics are the best. Also, you don’t have to spend a ton of money on these items as well. You can find some great staples for less than $200.
1.) White Tee
You can never go wrong with a crisp white tee! I’m pretty sure I wear a white tee at least twice a week because it pairs well with everything! Jeans, trousers, skirts, and more.
2.) White Button Down
I love a good white button down! It’s super flattering tucked into high waisted jeans, untucked with a pair of leggings underneath, or with your favorite knit. So many ways to wear!
There is nothing like a good pair of denim. Especially if it fits well. I tend to stick to classic slim and skinny jeans. These styles will go with everything in your closet.
My blazer collection is starting to get out of control, but it’s a wardrobe staple!! You need a blazer in your wardrobe! Add polish, and chicness to any outfit.
5.) Classic White Sneakers
White sneakers will always be in style. They are versatile and easy to pair with dresses, skirts, or even to wear to the office with trousers for a causal Friday look.
6.) Black Leggings
Who doesn’t love a good pair of leggings? One of the most comfiest items in your wardrobe and they are versatile. I don’t know where I will be without my Zella live in leggings (lol). I wear them for an off duty look with an oversized hoodie & dad sneakers or layered with an oversized sweater with black booties.
