New Beauty Buys: Ulta, Sephora, &, Dermstore

New Beauty Buys: Ulta, Sephora, &, Dermstore

As a fellow beauty junkie, I love the thrill of buying new beauty products. Especially when it’s skincare! While on quarantine, I have been placing orders on Sephora, doing curbside at Ulta, and grabbing items from the drugstore. Most of these products are my holy grails and I also wanted to try out some new things. Check out my list below!

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%

This by far is one of my favorite products from The Ordinary. I ended up ordering this in the larger size and I’m pretty close to finishing it. I will be doing an entire blog post on niacinamide and why you should incorporate it in your routine. Great for morning and night.

The Ordinary Retinol 0.2% in Squalane

I have been wanting to add a retinol to my skincare routine because of the great things I heard about it. After reading about retinol, you should start slow and work your way up to a higher percentage. I started by using this once a week, then worked my way up to 3-4 times a week. Highly recommend if you’re looking to incorporate retinol. (Note, I did purchase this item from Sephora but it’s sold out. I linked directly to Deciem.)

The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% peeling solution

A lot of people have been purchasing this because of Tik Tok, but it’s one of the first products from The Ordinary I tried when I was introduced to the brand a few years ago. It’s an exfoliating solution to help with texture and blemishes.

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5

Hylauronic acid has really helped with my oily skin.  If you’re looking to add into your routine, this is a great one and it’s under $7.

The Inkey List Kaolin Mask

There’s nothing really exciting about this mask. It’s under $7 and it gets the job done.

Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow

The best lip gloss that is really worth the hype. It’s not sticky and it’s long lasting.

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask

You guys know how much I love this multi use product! Super hydrating. I have been layering it over my retinol at night and my skin feels baby smooth.

CosRx Advanced Snail Mucin Power Essence

I have been using this for a couple of weeks now and I have noticed the glow and instant hydration. Use after toner and before serums.

CosRx Acne Pimple Master Patches

Where were these when I was a teen? These would have been so helpful! I use them at mainly at night but if I need to wear them during the day I will since they aren’t noticeable.

Supergoop Superscreen Moisturizer in SPF 40

Yes in quarantine, you should still wear sunscreen.

DHC Deep Cleaning Oil

My new favorite cleansing oil! Check out my post on double cleansing.

Have you been doing any quarantine shopping? I know a lot of us are being conscious of our spending, but it feels good to have a package delivered and trying new beauty products!

I have never, ever heard of snail mucin in a product. Is that for real? So interesting! I love how they are always discovering new treatments and ingredients to use. Fascinating!

I love The Ordinary products! I’ve only used the lactic acid so far, but I want to invest in so many more of their items. They’re affordable and do some serious WORK on my skin! Love reading more about which beauty products you’re buying and loving!
